Mark Bisson - Master Coach profile

mark

I have been coaching and mentoring for over twenty years with senior management and executive clients in a variety of commercial and public sector organisations. What enthused me was the opportunity to support others in solving their own issues using effective questioning techniques and models to support the client to find the answer which is right for them. The core of a coaching approach is to be curious and inquisitive whilst using active listening skills.

I became a coach because I find it energising and rewarding to see individuals learn, develop and gain new insights about themselves. I am continually motivated by the personal journeys that my clients choose to go on and feel privileged that they take me into their confidence. I strongly believe that everyone holds the potential to feel fulfilled. My role as a coach is to help clients understand what that looks like and how to get there.

I have worked in local Government in a variety of senior leadership roles across a broad range of services from frontline delivery through to change management and strategic leadership. My first profession was as a civil engineer. I am a credentialed member of the international coaching federation (ICF) and a Master NLP practitioner.

Jackie has a preference for a dialogical organisational development style. She facilitates conversations which lead to understanding and testing assumptions so that solutions are co-created and owned by people in the organisation.

Jackie's practice has its origins in learning and development and she has a systemic approach to working with change. She engages with all levels of staff across organisations and roots solutions in the business context. Enabling on going learning is a behaviour Jackie seeks to support. She is currently undertaking an MSc in People and Organisation Change to continue her own growth.

She is passionate about enabling others to develop through the creation of new insight and awareness so that they can achieve both organisational and personal goals. She enjoys the challenge of leading and implementing change and thrives in environments where she encouraged to be authentic.
